Modern Tarot
I really enjoyed this book so far and yes I am writing this review without having finished it but all for good reason. I know from what I have already read why I love it and want to finish it. I will share those thoughts with you here and how Iām taking my time with this one.
I have decided to take my time and savor this book in my own ritualistic way. I am drawing a Tarot Card every Tuesday and reading about that card. I will set the cards pulled aside to get through all the cards and complete the book. I will document it as I go using a new deck. I feel like this is a great way to really devour the book and make friends with a new Tarot deck. So far so good and I look forward to the journey I created for myself.
I really enjoyed the style of this book. I appreciate Michelle for swearing, speaking from a feminist point of view and her personal stories connecting with the cards. I also love the voice of San Francisco throughout it because if you spend a lot of time there it becomes a part of you and I could hear it in her voice. I enjoyed her vulnerability by putting yourself out there. I recommend it for Tarot lovers. I think this is not be the best first Tarot Book to read, but anywhere after your first book it would be great.
